Since 2013, MAC investigators have advanced the understanding of Heritable Thoracic Aortic Disease (HTAD) through collaborative research, resulting in numerous publications in leading medical journals. Research generated through the consortium has expanded knowledge of the genetic causes, diagnosis, and management of these conditions, while informing international clinical guidelines and contributing to more personalized care for affected individuals and families.
